About WEC

The World Energy Council is headquartered in London. The Chief Executive and Secretary of the organisation is the Secretary General, who is responsible for managing the day to day affairs of WEC.

A staff of 15 supports the Secretary General in the London office. Four Regional Coordinators, based in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America/Caribbean carry out the work of the Regional Programme and support and assist Member Committees in their region for a 'bottom-up' focus.
