About WEC

The World Energy Council is headquartered in London. The Chief Executive and Secretary of the organisation is the Secretary General, who is responsible for managing the day to day affairs of WEC.

A staff of 17 supports the Secretary General in the London office. Five Regional Managers, based in Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America/Caribbean and South Asia carry out the work of the Regional Programme and support and assist Member Committees in their region for a 'bottom-up' focus.
