About WEC

Organisational Structure

The World Energy Council consists of three separate organisations.

The first is the main body, World Energy Council, which is a charity incorporated under the laws of England and Wales. More information about  the  organisational structure of the  WEC   is available via links in the menu to the left.

The second is WEC Services Limited, which is the trading subsidiary of World Energy Council.

The third is the WEC Foundation, which was formed in 1990 to receive and use financial contributions and donations from individuals, organisations and global energy companies. Contributors to the Foundation are designated as WEC Patrons. The interest earned on Foundation funds is used to help finance WEC's Studies, Technical and Regional Programmes.
