Innovative Financing Mechanisms

The objective of WEC’s work undertaken in the Knowledge Network on Innovative Financing Mechanisms is to identify and examine innovative financing mechanisms from the perspective of technology challenges (e.g. CCS, energy efficiency, etc.), policy implications (e.g. investment challenge, tax implications, incentive frameworks, etc.) and scenario relevance and to give insight and guidance to policy makers as well as to enrich the work of the WEC Activity Areas.
