The World Energy Council focuses on three long-term, visionary, strategic activities:

• Surveying energy resources and technologies
• Assessing national energy policies across the world and identifying which policies are effective and transferable to other countries
• Exploring possible global energy futures and analysing critical uncertainties

To achieve its goals WEC develops policy and strategy relevant insight processes based on own methodology and data, to support sound and robust decision processes of our key constituents (ministers & CEOs).
