Issues

In order to assess the evolution of the global energy agenda we conduct annually our "World Energy Issues Survey". The survey gathers the views of WEC's energy leadership community, from over 90 countries, and provides an insight into the critical uncertainties affecting the energy sector, identifying key trends while highlighting the areas where action is required to ensure the sustainable supply and use of energy for the greatest benefit of all. In this process, our member committee Chairs have quantified the impact, uncertainty and urgency of about 30 issues, covering macroeconomic risks, geopolitics, business environment as well as energy vision in a high-level "helicopter perspective". The responses have been translated into issues maps with the three assessed dimensions as its axes.
