Montréal 2010

The 21st World Energy Congress took place in Montréal from September 12-16, 2010 at the Palais des Congrès, with the theme "Responding now to global challenges - Energy in transition for a living planet".

A group of 143 Future Energy Leader delegates, representing 38 different WEC Member Countries, attended a tailored programme of discussions, panel presentations and working sessions to discuss their views on energy issues, the content of the Congress and to draft and produce a Future Energy Leaders Declaration ( PDF File, 164KB).

As the culmination of the week the 2010 Declaration was delivered to the plenary hall at the closing ceremony of the Congress.
