Mission and Objectives

The Future Energy Leaders Community  is a WEC initiative that was created in the wake of the highly successful Youth Programme of the 20th World Energy Congress in Rome.

Designed to building on the potential  and energy of the next generation of industry professionals, the Future Energy Leaders Community will become an international network that allows the energy leaders of tomorrow to debate and discuss WEC's key goal, to become actively involved in WEC's work alongside the triennial Congress' youth programme and to network with colleagues around the world.

WEC's goals for the Future Energy Leaders Community are:

•  To develop national or regional youth working groups associated with the WEC Member Committees 
•  To integrate young energy professionals in WEC's work and 
•  To establish an online platform for communication for the entire group.
