The German Young Energy Professionals

Germany's Rome Youth Delegates 2007 and the German Member Committee established their Young Energy Professional Panel in April 2008 in the wake of the 2007 World Energy Congress. 

In line with WEC's goal to provide sustainable energy supply for the greatest benefit of all, this German panel aims to address today's and tomorrow's energy challenges to next generations.

Created by young people, for young people, Germany's Young Professional Panel aims to:

  • Deliver fact-based information on energy-related topics
  • Address students, young politicians, opinion leaders and decision makers
  • Create an internal network to exchange experiences and knowledge within the Panel and to pass feedback along to panelists' employers
  • Support the international efforts of the Future Energy Leaders Community
  • Welcome the next generation to the upcoming Youth Programmes of the next World Energy Congresses.

The German Young Energy Professionals committed themselves to publish regularly statements on up to date energy related topics. These papers are aimed as fact-based information written by young people for young people.
