WEC Secretary General

Following the untimely death of WEC Secretary General Gerald Doucet on 4 October, a Succession Committee composed of the WEC Chairman and WEC officers Marie-José Nadeau and Asger Bundgaard-Jensen was formed to search for his successor. Although the Succession Committee hoped to announce the name of the new Secretary General at the 2008 Executive Assembly in Mexico City, this was not possible given the short timeframe. The Succession Committee now hopes to name the new Secretary General in the next few weeks; an announcement of the new Secretary General will be posted on this website.
