Natural Bitumen and Extra-Heavy Oil Country Notes
Germany
Heavy oil is produced from many fields in Germany, but extra-heavy oil has not been reported. Highly viscous natural bitumen is present in the Nordhorn deposit, in the Northwest German Basin.
