Wave Country Notes
Netherlands
The Netherlands experiences low wave-power levels, which has led to Teamwork Technology (www.waveswing.com) seeking to develop their Archimedes Wave Swing (described in the Commentary) in Scotland, where there is a more prospective home market (www.awsocean.com). A 2 MW pilot plant was installed off the coast of Portugal and engineering for a pre-commercial demonstrator is presently being undertaken.
