Survey of Energy Resources

The WEC Survey of Energy Resources (SER), which has been produced regularly since 1934, is the prime global compilation of energy resources and reserves.

A review group is examining ways to increase SER’s relevance to current and medium-term strategic questions, especially those related to the adequacy of energy resources.

Other compilers of energy statistics, such as the United Nations and the International Energy Agency, rely on this WEC data.
