Logistics Capabilities sub-group

There is considerable infrastructure needed to move energy across regional and international boundaries in the forms and quantities projected. What are the technology, policy and trade impediments to ensuring stable and reliable movements? A Task Force on Oil Refining, to analyse how increases in oil demand and reduction of the spare capacity affects oil consumers, will be included in the Logistics part of the study. There will be close coordination with the Interconnectivity Task Force (see under WEC Technical Programmes and Task Forces.)

The Terms of Reference for this sub-group area available to download . This is to be completed by the third quarter of 2009.
