Water for Energy sub-group

Many energy systems require large amounts of fresh water to support operations and production.  What are the alternatives and impacts of different choices? What role can or should water desalination play? To expand on this latter question, a Water Desalination sub-group will be formed as part of the Water for Energy study, with the Gulf States region taking a lead role.

The Terms of Reference for this sub-group are available to download .This is to be completed by the end of 2009.
