Since 1970 we have witnessed a rapid growth in energy demand, mainly satisfied by fossil fuels. The future will be different.  It is increasingly evident that the energy transition is anticipating fundamental changes in the geopolitical, legal, regulatory and business environment, in which the stakeholders of the energy sector have operated in recent decades. This “uncertainty path” is known as “The Grand Transition.” The meeting will aim to deepen the discussion about the energy changes taking place in the international context and grasp the implications for Italy in balancing the Energy Trilemma: energy systems that ensure safe, affordable and sustainable energy access.
