The World Energy Council Colombia seeks through this event to generate a space for discussion and debate between government, companies and academia to promote the development of electric mobility in the country and the Latin America region. Electric mobility has been identified by the World Energy Council as a key vehicle for achieving the countries’ energy sustainability, as it contributes to the three dimensions of the sustainability trilemma (energy security, equity and environmental sustainability). The potential of electric mobility in the countries of the region is high and is very important considering that the electric matrix is one of the cleanest in the world and has great prospects in the incorporation of non-conventional renewable energies, which would allow Supply the growing demand that a park of electric vehicles in a sustainable way.
