The Indaba Energy Leaders’ Dialogue 2017 will take place on 21st February 2017 in Johannesburg, South Africa, as a part of the 9th Africa Energy Indaba.

The Indaba Energy Leaders’ Dialogue is a high-level event organised by the World Energy Council for the global energy leaders’ community to facilitate on-going dialogue on critical issues affecting the energy world. Participation is by invitation only to Ministers, the Council’s Patron and Global Partner CEOs and selected high-level guests.

The sessions are designed in a roundtable setting to facilitate interactive and informal peer-to-peer dialogue. This year’s agenda will explore scenarios for Africa, next steps towards regional integration and the scaling up of renewables through innovative business models.

The World Energy Council’s Energy Leaders’ Dialogues and World Energy Leaders’ Summits create important opportunities for highly relevant dialogues and build on the Council’s unique ability to convene this powerful energy leaders’ community to address issues and challenges in a targeted regional context. Recently held dialogues took place in Addis Ababa, October 2015, in Beijing, March 2016, and at the 23rd World Energy Congress in Istanbul, Turkey, October 2016.
