Minister Ali Al-Naimi and Vice-Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy, after which politicians, high-ranking officials, business representatives and experts will discuss the role of the Arab world in securing Germany’s and Europe’s energy supply in the globalised energy market of the 21st century. Strategic issues of energy security, such as political stability of supplier and transit regions, economic importance of crude oil and natural gas from the Arab world as well as interest of Arab states in regulatory concepts and technologies for renewable energies and increased energy efficiency, will be examined in panels and sessions.
