With the transition toward a less emitting economy underway across the country, the Canadian energy sector continues to develop, innovate, and grow in response to domestic and international expectations. The Energy Council’s panel will bring together some of the key thought leaders from Canada’s energy sector to discuss some of the challenges and opportunities related to this transition.

Panelists will touch on topics such as technological innovation, portfolio diversification, talent acquisition, and skills development.  They will also discuss the need for infrastructure, new market access, coordinated regulation, improved collaboration and a globally competitive approach toward attracting capital for Canadian energy projects.

Please note that registration will require a home address. As a Ministerial event, RCMP will be conducting record checks of all delegates. Due to this constraint, please also note that the final date to register is May 13th, 2019, to ensure time for all attendees to be fully screened.

Confirmed Panelists:

  • Ginny Flood – Vice Chair, Canadian Chamber of Commerce; Vice President, Government Relations, Suncor
  • John Maniawski – Senior Vice President, Brookfield Renewables
  • Stay tuned for more speaker confirmations!
