In the designing of implementation policy there are open issues which we want to discuss at the Forum:

Should we keep the current system of collecting funds for the implementation of all components of energy policy aimed at achieving a reduction in CO2 emissions, or should funding be provided only

through taxes or fees for CO2?

Should we keep the current system of feed-in tariffs or should we provide financial support for investments?

How to define the obligations and risks of investors in the field of renewable energy? Should they be in the same market position as investors in other sources?

How to solve the problem of balancing energy costs and expectations regarding the technological development of energy storage in the future?

How to finance a reduction in CO2 emissions and increase of the energy efficiency in the transport sector and what is the future of electric cars?

How to finance an increase in energy efficiency, particularly in households?

How to encourage the reduction of CO2 emissions in the production of energy from fossil fuels?

What is the future of emissions trading?

What contribution is expected from smart grids to increase efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions?
