The forum seeks to analyse the energy reality and the regional perspectives in terms of energy integration. Latin America is a continent with abundant energy resources but distributed asymmetrically. The need to use this energy wealth optimally should foster cooperation among countries to promote regional integration as a key factor for the region’s economic and social development. One of the tasks is to promote investment in the region by fostering partnerships The public and private sectors, in order to respond to the infrastructure requirements that allow sustainable response to the growing demand, taking advantage of the complementarity of the energy matrixes in the region.
