Eni Trading and Shipping

Amin El-Houderi is a Crude Oil Trader at Eni Trading and Shipping (ETS), the trading arm of Eni group, which is responsible in managing the group’s international marketing of crude oil and petroleum products and their transportation by sea. In his role, he is responsible for the Mediterranean Sweet market by supplying Eni’s refineries in Italy and Germany, commercializing equity barrels in the region and proprietary trading. Prior to this, between January 2014 and May 2017, he was a Trading Analyst for both the Mediterranean Sweet and West African crude oil desks. His main role was maintaining the crude trading exposure generated through physical and paper trading, managing the hedging programme for all physical cargoes and reporting the daily exposure and P&L. His journey to become a trader at ETS started from a two-month internship from which he secured a permanent contract. Amin holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management with Financial Services from the University of Westminster and a Master's degree in Investment Management from Cass Business School for which he obtained Distinction. Amin is fluent in English and Arabic.
