Project Lead Engineer
Joy Eze is a well-seasoned energy professional; a drilling engineer with Royal Dutch Shell, responsible for the design and execution of several oil and gas Wells’ projects. She is based in Trinidad as a Project Lead Engineer delivering gas wells and contributing to energy security and sustainability for the company and country. Previously, she had done a stint with Schlumberger, and was a Key Account Manager at Procter and Gamble. Joy holds a first-class degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from the University of Benin, Nigeria; an MBA from IE Business School, Spain, and currently, has an MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Aberdeen in view. She has won several awards including Best Graduating Student Awards, P&G Visibility King Award, and Shell service recognition awards. She has led in several roles over her career, and has skills in business development, project management and delivery. She is passionate about the energy transition and its future with digitalization; currently the digitalization focal point for her team and making strides at digitalizing the Wells business. She is also deeply committed to people, and particularly women’s development and served as president of the Shell Trinidad employee’s network: The Balanced Network.
