Gabrielle Menard

Lab Manager

ENGIE

During my studies I started to be interested in energy issues, that’s why I majored in energy production, process engineering and commodities market. Passionate by energies, after my graduation I decided to integrate ENGIE. I joined ENGIE LAB CRIGEN, the ENGIE corporate R&D center.  My work as R&D engineer then project manager within ENGIE fulfilled all my curiosity and my desire to work on energy issues developing digital and new technological solutions answering to energy transition needs. Then, due to the major energy sector change and ENGIE new strategy, as deputy lab manager I participated actively to the new definition of my team strategy in favor of new gases. I'm now managing the team I joined in 2015. I have successfully built, launched and led various research projects on all the bricks of the LNG, bioLNG and LH2 chains, including technological developments, field experiments, as well as digital solution development and I won an international innovation prize. I have also an active role in several internal organization such as the Young Professional Network, Women In Networking and Elles Bougent or my Alumni network within ENGIE.    In parallel of my job, as a citizen, I’m very invested in an association and I’m also violinist playing in an orchestra for years.

I’m Lab manager in CRIGEN, ENGIE’s Corporate Research Center devoted to green gases (hydrogen, biogas, etc.), new energy uses in the B-to-B field, and emerging technologies. I’m managing a team of 20 technicians, researchers and doctors developing biogas, H2 and CO2 capture solutions for the zero carbon transition of ENGIE clients. I'm part of ENGIE Lab CRIGEN Management Committee.
