Anita Mathews

Anita Mathews is Director of Strategy & Planning in the Congress and Convening team and is responsible for the project management of the Council’s flagship World Energy Congress event.

Anita has over 20+ years of experience in the Middle East in a leadership role with specific event sector experience spanning over 15 years. She successfully organized the 24th World Energy Congress, the first edition to be hosted in a Middle Eastern city and by an OPEC member country.

Anita has a degree in science majoring in Chemistry and a post graduate diploma in business administration.
