Diana Mangalagiu

Diana Mangalagiu is an interdisciplinary scientist working at the intersection of technology, sustainability, strategy, and foresight. With over two decades of experience, she combines expertise in artificial intelligence, sustainability innovation, and strategic consulting for international institutions, governments, corporations, and NGOs. 

She holds a PhD in artificial intelligence from École Polytechnique, alongside master's degrees in engineering, microelectronics, management, and political sciences. Throughout her career, Diana has brought together technical rigor and a deep understanding of societal dynamics to address complex global challenges. She is currently an Associate Fellow at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, where she contributes to advancing strategic thinking for a sustainable future. She also serves as a Coordinating Lead Author for the IPBES Nexus Assessment, shaping global knowledge on the interlinkages between food, water, health, and biodiversity. In parallel, she continues to shape the next generation of leaders as a Professor at Neoma Business School and an Associate Professor at Sciences Po. 

Fluent in seven languages, Diana is passionate about building bridges between science and policy, public and private sectors, and across disciplines to drive meaningful and sustainable change.
