Presents its New Website to Strengthen the Link with the Energy Community

Presented by World Energy Council Chile: World Energy Council Chile

With the purpose of strengthening the link with the energy community and making strategic information available for decision-making, World Energy Council (WEC) Chile presented its new website, a completely renewed platform that brings together in one place its main initiatives, studies, and activities.

The new site seeks to become a reference space for those who participate in the country's energy development, facilitating access to content, analysis, and tools that contribute to understanding the challenges of the energy transition.

One of the main objectives of the platform is to give greater visibility to the knowledge generated by the World Energy Council with its international network, bringing tools such as the World Energy Trilemma and the World Energy Issues Monitor closer to the energy community, studies that provide key information on the performance of energy systems and the main priorities. risks and uncertainties faced by different countries. Along with this, the site brings together the publications prepared by WEC Chile, strengthening their contribution to the debate and the construction of a shared vision on the future of energy.

The new platform also incorporates a news section, a calendar of activities, information about WEC Chile's partners, and a repository with photographs and videos that includes some of the main milestones, meetings, and seminars held by the organization during its 11-year history.

Women in Energy and Kids in Energy have their own spaces

Among the main features are two new mini-sites dedicated to Women in Energy and Kids in Energy, initiatives that reflect WEC Chile's commitment to the development of talent, diversity, and education in energy.

The Women in Energy space brings together all the information about the women's leadership program, including its activities and news. In addition, it incorporates a section specially created to make visible the ambassadors who have been part of this community since its inception and the participants of the current generation, strengthening the network of women leaders that today drives the transformation of the energy sector.

For its part, the Kids in Energy mini-site concentrates the main activities and resources of this educational program, which seeks to bring the world of energy closer to children and young people, promoting from an early age a greater understanding of the responsible use of energy.

"The new website reflects the evolution that WEC Chile has had in recent years. We wanted to build a space that was much more than an institutional showcase, but rather a platform that connects the energy community with quality knowledge, makes our initiatives visible, and facilitates access to tools that today are essential to understand how the energy sector evolves, both in Chile and in the world," said María Trinidad Castro. Executive Director of WEC Chile.

The platform will continue to incorporate new content and functionalities, consolidating itself as a dynamic space to share knowledge, promote dialogue, and strengthen the community that WEC Chile has built together with its partners, companies, institutions, professionals, and new generations.

With this launch, WEC Chile reaffirms its commitment to promoting an increasingly informed conversation about the future of energy, making available to the entire community a modern, open, and constantly updated platform.
