SAVE THE DATE: Energy Day 2026
Organised by World Energy Council Finland
On Tuesday, 20 June 2026, at the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre, Ilmailunkatu 20, 33900 Tampere.
The day will be opened by Minister for Climate Change and the Environment Sari Multala.
In the afternoon, we will hear an Executive Level panel discussion with representatives from Valmet, Vantaan Energia Oy, Kokkolan Energia Oy, and P2X Solutions Oy. The panel will discuss, among other things, the latest challenges and solutions in the energy transition. In addition, we will hear what the energy transition will look like in both energy production and use when Energiateollisuus ry – Finnish Energy and Teknologiateollisuus - Technology Industries of Finland take the stage.
An essential part of the Energy Day is also a discussion about safety. For example, Hanna Holopainen and Elenia examine the security of the energy sector from both a global and national perspective — what the geopolitical transition means for security of supply, and how the Finnish energy system is preparing for an era of uncertainty.
The Energy Day will once again culminate in the Energy Dinner, more information about which will be provided later. Follow World Energy Council Finland on LinkedIn and Instagram, and also subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date with our latest events, HERE.
