For the next "Energy Ambassadors" meeting, a space for informal dialogue with a leader in the energy sector, our Secretary General Marie-Line Vaiani and the Young Professionals Group (YEP France), will discuss with Nathalie Lemaitre, Member of the Management Board – Managing Director of the Customers, Systems and Innovation division, RTE.

Nathalie Lemaitre will talk about her career (*), her taste for the energy sector but also her vision of the energy transition and the means to accelerate it in a balanced approach in the sense of the World Energy Council's Energy Trilemma (energy security, energy equity, environmental sustainability). A graduate of the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) in Lyon and an auditor at IHEDATE, Nathalie Lemaître began her career in 1991 at EDF in the control of materials for the nuclear production fleet, before joining the national dispatching department in 1997.

When RTE was created, it participated in the implementation of mechanisms governing relations between the players in the electricity system and RTE. From 2004 to 2015, she held various management and executive positions in the entities in charge of operating the electricity system and participated in the coordination between European network operators. In 2015, she joined RTE's Ile-de-France-Normandy delegation as Director of the Greater Paris Mission. In 2020, Nathalie Lemaître was Regional Delegate for Île-de-France and Normandy.

Since 1 September 2025, Nathalie Lemaître was appointed a member of RTE's Management Board, Chief Executive Officer of the Customers, Systems and Innovation division, which covers: the Transformation and Operation of the Electrical System Department, the Markets Department, the Customers and Services Department, the R&D Department, Design and Operation of IT Systems and Telecom Division.
