News from the World Energy Council and the French Energy Council by Marie-Line Vaiani, Secretary General of the CFE.

Yannick Peysson, R&D program manager at IFP Energies nouvelles, is in charge of different research topics in the domain of the geosciences for the energy transition: native hydrogen, underground storage and transport of hydrogen, deep geothermal energy and storage of energy.

Yannick Peysson joined IFPEN in 1998 after a PhD in liquid physics at Sorbonne University. He spent a large part of his career at IFPEN as a researcher in the fields of multiphase flows and flows in porous media. In 2021, he joined the Energy Resources Business Unit as R&D program manager.
