On Tuesday, 12 May 2026, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, which will take place exclusively in person in Paris (venue to be communicated at a later date).

The World Energy Council France invites its members to attend the next Members’ Briefing with the following speaker:

  • Jean-Bernard Lévy, President of the French Energy Council

Discussion on the report “Optimising public support for renewable electricity and storage”.

In December 2025, the Prime Minister tasked Jean-Bernard Lévy (Chairman of the French Energy Council) and Thierry Tuot (Section President at the Council of State) with a mission to rethink the public support mechanisms for renewable electricity and storage.

Submitted to the Prime Minister on 9 April 2026, the report sets out 45 recommendations concerning wind power, solar power, and batteries in mainland France.
