What Energy Sovereignty?

Organised by World Energy Council France and PwC France.

On Wednesday, 1 July 2026, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, Paris.

Three years ago, the French Energy Council organised a dialogue on the conclusions of the parliamentary commission of inquiry on France's energy sovereignty.

Today, between energy dominance, war, and ecological civilization, what energy sovereignty is possible for France and for Europe?

To shed light on this question, several key players will intervene:

  • Ministry of the Armed Forces
  • Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE)
  • Directorate-General for Energy and Climate (DGEC)
  • BRGM
  • EDF
  • ENGIE
  • RTE
  • Foundation for Strategic Research (FRS)
  • University of Paris Dauphine - Geopolitical Center for Energy and Raw Materials

Exchanges will be placed under the Chatham House rule.

Invitation-only event reserved for members and partners of the French Energy Council and PwC France.
