The first edition of the "Energy is a Woman" Mentoring Program
Organised by World Energy Council Poland
From November 20, 2025, to 30 June 2026:
- November 10, 2025 – start of recruitment of Mentees
- November 30, 2025 – end of recruitment of Mentees
- December 2025 – Mentor-Mentee Matching Process
- 12 January 2026 – start of mentoring processes
- 30 June 2026 – completion of mentoring processes and final reports
OUR MISSION
The mission of the "Energy is a Woman" Mentoring Program is to increase the participation of women in the energy sector by:
- inspiration and development support for young women to pursue their careers in this sector.
- strengthening the position and competence development of women already working in energy companies.
In the face of global climate challenges, we cannot afford to waste the potential of women. Investing in women in the energy sector is not a gesture, but a necessity. If you are part of this change, act boldly. If you are just considering this direction, know that you are needed.
The program offers access to practical tools, expert knowledge, and one-on-one support to help participants pursue their career aspirations.
A key element of participation in the Program is the opportunity to develop through cooperation with a mentor, i.e. an experienced person from the energy industry or a professional coach-mentor who shares his experience and supports in building a professional path.
Participation in the program is completely free.
About the Energy is a Woman programme
"Energy is a Woman" is a mentoring program of the Polish Committee of the World Energy Council, created for women working in the energy sector.
This is a program that opens the door to a career in the energy industry! A program that connects generations and diverse perspectives, building relationships based on trust, partnership and mutual support. The program is in line with the global activities of the World Energy Council (www.worldenergy.org) by promoting values such as inclusivity, solidarity and women's leadership as the foundations of a modern and sustainable energy sector. "Energy is a Woman: it's not just a program – it's a movement that supports talent, builds community and opens doors to new opportunities.
Mentoring in the "Energy is a Woman" program is a tool for development, but also a source of inspiration – for Mentees, Mentors. It is a place where the female voice in the energy industry becomes clearer, stronger and more audible.
The "Energy Is a Woman" mentoring program exists to support female students and professionals in their professional development in the energy sector. The aim is to raise aspirations, build confidence and increase the representation of women at all levels, such as management and leadership in the energy sector.
