Europe's Challenges Towards Transition

Hosted by World Energy Council Italy (WEC Italia) and Globe Italia.

On Thursday, 22 February 2024 from 9:30 - 13:00 (CET), at the Headquarters of Spazio Europa.

The event contributes to the debates that precede the Energy and Circular Economy Days, the initiative promoted by Globe Italia and WEC Italia in collaboration with Luiss School of Government, AICP - Italian Association of Parliamentary Collaborators and Askanews which for the past seven years has brought together institutions, energy and recycling supply chain companies, parliamentary collaborators and young generations to discuss the major issues of the ecological transition.

2024 will be a decisive year for the future of European politics, with climate, circular economy and energy among the most challenging areas and increasingly at the centre of public attention, as evidenced by the Eurobarometer published at the beginning of December. The leaders who emerge from the European elections in June will be called upon to set ambitious policies and commitments to achieve the goals set by international climate agreements, thus determining Europe's role in the global context as a key actor in the fight for a more sustainable future.
