Future Energy Leaders Summit 2025: “The Future of Energy in a Changing World"

The energy sector continues to be marked by major challenges, located at the intersection of the energy transition, geopolitical tensions and the need for security and resilience. In a European context that focuses on achieving the 2030 targets and building a decarbonised, stable and affordable energy system, the young generation of leaders has a key role to play in shaping tomorrow's solutions.

FEL Summit 2025 brings to the fore the contribution of young professionals to shaping energy policies, in an open dialogue with representatives of the private sector, academia, government and international organizations. Topics such as resilience and energy security, the adaptability of energy systems to new realities, technological innovation and the preparation of future leaders in the field will be addressed.

The event will facilitate the identification of concrete solutions to the current challenges of the energy transition, through collaboration between decision-makers, experts and the new generation of energy leaders. At the same time, the summit will strengthen a network of intergenerational dialogue and will highlight the importance of continuous training and active involvement of young people in shaping European and national energy policies.

In order to identify the challenges of the energy sector and the future role of young people in this sector, Future Energy Leaders Romania organizes the second edition of the FEL Energy Summit 2025: The Future of Energy in a Changing World, an event that will take place on June 5, at ONE Floreasca – Scenario, between 16:00 and 21:00.
 
We chose this date because it is World Environment Day, a symbolic day to reaffirm our commitment to the transition to a sustainable energy system and the protection of the environment.
 
By organizing this event, FEL Romania aims to facilitate a constructive dialogue between young energy professionals and representatives of the public, private, academic environment and international organizations, in a collaborative framework dedicated to the current challenges of the energy transition, to explore together with experts and decision-makers, how energy policies can integrate priorities such as resilience, security and adaptability of the energy system, and last but not least, promote the active involvement of the new generation in decision-making and in the development of innovative solutions for a sustainable energy future, while contributing to the formation of a community of young leaders ready for the transformations in the sector.
 
The event will have 2 discussion panels and will be open to:
