Women in Energy V
Organised by Future Energy Leaders Romania
On Wednesday, 3 December 2025, from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, at the Crowne Plaza, Bucharest, Romania.
The energy transition profoundly affects everyone's lives, regardless of gender. However, the energy sector has traditionally been dominated by men. According to a study conducted by the Boston Consulting Group in 2022, only 29% of employees in this field are women, and their percentage on the boards of energy companies is even lower, at 26%. These figures highlight the need to increase female representation in the sector and to harness the professional potential of women in this crucial field.
Future Energy Leaders (FEL) Romania, the youth initiative of the Romanian National Committee of the World Energy Council (CNR-CME), is organising the fifth edition of the "Women in Energy" conference on December 3, 2025, between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., at the Crowne Plaza Bucharest. This event aims to create an authentic space for dialogue for women in the energy sector, focusing on leadership, professional development, and mentoring. Through the conference, participants will explore ways to strengthen women's involvement in the energy industry and discuss concrete solutions for a more equitable and inclusive energy transition. At the same time, the event aims to inspire new generations of professionals and demonstrate the value of mentoring in the careers of women in the field.
