EU - MEDITERRANEAN COOPERATION FOR A SKILLED ENERGY WORKFORCE
Organised by World Energy Council Italy
On Thursday, 9 October 205, from 3 pm - 4 pm CET - Live streaming from EYEF2025, Catania
The Mediterranean energy transition is no longer a distant prospect; it is unfolding now and demands new skills, innovation capacity, and structured regional cooperation. In its third meeting, the Mediterranean Energy Talks (MEETs) initiative, promoted by OMEC and WEC Italy, turned to a decisive enabler of this transformation: developing a qualified, diverse, and future-ready energy workforce. Organised in the context of the European Youth Energy Forum 2025 of Catania, the talk will explore how Euro-Mediterranean collaboration can strengthen education, training, and inclusion, while empowering youth and women to play a leading role in the sector.
