Women in Energy

Organised by World Energy Council Italy

On Thursday, 21 May 2026, at the Aula Magna of the School of Engineering of the Università di Pisa.

The second appointment of Women in Energy in Campus, the cycle of meetings organized by WEC Italy in universities to raise awareness of the inclusiveness of the energy sector and offer young people testimonies and professional prospects, was held today in the Aula Magna of the School of Engineering of the Università di Pisa, packed with students.

The meeting, organised in collaboration with Prof. Davide Poli Unipisa contact person at WEC Italy, with the UNESCO Chair of the University of Pisa, and included in the Festival of Sustainable Development ASviS - Alleanza Italiana per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile, focused in particular on professions related to academic paths in engineering, thanks to the interventions of Daniele Testi, Renato Iannelli, Marco Raugi, Cristina Manetti, CHIARA GALLETTI, Elena Menchetti, Anna Teresa Rondinella, Chiara Boschi, Natascia Andrenacci, Laura La Marca, Alessia Morelli and Martina Conti, coordinated in the debates to be Letizia Germana Pittiglio.

Inclusiveness, the development of new skills, and an increasingly strong link between training, business, research, and innovation are essential to accompany the energy transition, with an increasingly central role for territories and women's participation.

Thanks to all the speakers and the young people who animated the debates!
