Bilateral meeting: 2026 World Energy Congress in Riyadh
Hosted by World Energy Council Italy and World Energy Council Saudi Arabia
At the Saudi Embassy for a bilateral meeting between World Energy Council Italy and the delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in view of the 2026 World Energy Congress in Riyadh.
A neutral approach to technologies that includes traditional sources, with a push on renewables, batteries, alternative fuels, nuclear (in the future SMR) and gas for stability. But also CCS, CCUS and clean hydrogen.
Then the commitment to women's empowerment, that of young people and the training of new skills. The Italian WEC network was able to discuss future strategies and business opportunities in an atmosphere of open collaboration.
