World Energy Council Instruments for 2025. Their Usefulness for Romania
Organised by World Energy Council Romania
On Thursday, 20 November 2025, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (CET), taking place on-site at the Central Library of the National University of Science and Technology Politehnica Bucharest.
The CNR-CME tradition is to organise an annual event dedicated to the World Energy Council instruments. They are developed to detect and measure trends in the global energy sector and are constantly updated. For this, CME annually conducts studies in which the methodology and dynamics of changes are analysed based on existing data, starting in 2011 until today.
This year, the discussions will focus on recent CME studies, but also on the role of these tools in better understanding the strategic documents of the energy sector in Romania. Therefore, we believe that the event is addressed and interesting for energy sector leaders and national policymakers, but also for specialists in the field who are interested in a better understanding of the aspects related to the strategic transformations of the sector. At the same time, the opinions expressed by the speakers are certainly useful for the academic environment as well.
