The UAE National Committee at the World Energy Council held its first meeting for 2026 under the chairmanship of His Excellency Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, where it reviewed the country's most prominent achievements, foremost of which was achieving the first place in the world for the second year in a row in the World Energy Council Awards in the category of empowering women and youth in the energy sector, in addition to discussing the launch of the UAE Youth Council for Future Energy Leaders, and preparations for the World Energy Conference 2027, in order to enhance the country's leadership and global presence in the energy sector.
