Marco Fuentes

Mr. Fuentes joined EnfraGen in November 2021 as Chief Operating Officer and was appointed EnfraGen’s President in May 2024. He has more than 24 years of operations, commercial, and business experience in the power sector at both renewable and thermal generation facilities.

Marco joined EnfraGen from Saavi in Mexico, where he was Chief Operating Officer, responsible for Saavi’s operational assets including safety, operations and maintenance, asset management and trading activity, engineering, and environmental compliance. Prior to Saavi, Marco held various positions of increasing importance and responsibility at InterGen including as Operations Director, and as Commercial & Operations Director focused on the overall asset management, HSSE compliance, and maximizing revenue and value creation for the company. He began his career at General Electric as a Field Engineer and Contract Performance Manager driving customer value through planned outage management and a controlled financial operating plan.

Marco holds a Master’s in Business Administration, an Executive Program at IPADE Business School, and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores of Monterrey.
