On Monday 8th of April 2019, the World Energy Council hosted a Cyber Workshop pilot at Chatham House in London, with our partners Marsh and McLennan Companies. This event was a proof of concept for a series of workshops exploring cybersecurity crafted by the Council’s Policy and Risk Insights Team. The success and positive reception of this pilot workshop will contribute to the design of a program that will eventually be rolled out across the Council’s Community.

The World Energy Council helps leaders navigate the increasingly digital landscape of the energy industry, exploring critical areas of innovation, including blockchain and cybersecurity. Forward-looking workshops are a core part of the Council’s mission to anticipate and respond to energy leaders’ needs in the context of the global energy transition. They are complementary to the Council’s newly released Toolkit User Guide and integral to its collaborative approach to managing the energy transition.
