Joy Osomiamhe-O

A Dynamic Project, Governance and Advocacy Leader with over 10 years’ experience advancing multi-country energy and sustainability programmes across Africa, the UK, Europe, and the Global South, Joy currently serves as Regional Manager, Africa at the World Energy Council, supporting regional coordination, stakeholder engagement, and Africa’s strategic positioning within global energy dialogues. Her work focuses on alliance-building between finance and innovation, enabling early-stage energy solutions to access capital, policy visibility, and global platforms. I also provide strategic advisory support to innovators, helping align business models with policy frameworks, investor expectations, and just energy transition priorities.
Joy is a founder of the G-SEL Network CIC, which convenes annual international energy transition dialogues with over 23 global partners, including UNDP, SDG Academy, UNSDSN, and leading academic institutions, amplifying African perspectives in line with the Paris Agreement and SDGs.
She has an MBA, and MSc, and is currently pursuing her DBA.
