Peter Osborn

Peter Osborn is Head of Executive Office at the World Energy Council, having joined in April 2026.

He works closely with the CEO and all Secretariat teams, leading the Executive Office to bring greater clarity, coordination and momentum to the Council’s strategic priorities, delivery and key stakeholder relations.

Peter has over 25 years’ experience in programme and operations management, having worked in the global telecommunications, media services, public policy, and conflict resolution fields.  Based in the UK, he has lived and worked in Africa, the Americas and the Middle East.  

Peter holds a BA Honours in Environmental Politics and a MA in Political Philosophy from the University of Natal, South Africa.
