Simin Erdogan is Sales Director, Congress & Convening at the World Energy Council, where she leads the commercial and sponsorship strategy across the Council's global portfolio of events. This includes World Energy Congress 2027 in Riyadh, the World Energy Leaders' Dialogue in Paris, World Energy Impact – Istanbul, and the Council's wider programme of international convenings.

With nearly two decades of international experience in commercial leadership, sponsorship and strategic partnerships, Simin has built a successful career developing high-value partnerships for global conferences, exhibitions and thought leadership platforms across Europe, the Middle East and North America. She has worked with leading multinational organisations across the energy, technology, finance and industrial sectors, delivering innovative partnership solutions that create long-term value for organisations and stakeholders alike.

At the World Energy Council, Simin works closely with Member Committees, industry leaders and strategic partners to build enduring relationships that support the Council's mission of enabling a secure, equitable and sustainable energy future. Her focus is on creating meaningful collaborations that advance dialogue, innovation and investment while strengthening the global impact of the Council's convening programme.

Simin holds a master’s degree in mass media from Istanbul University, with an academic background in Economics, bringing together commercial acumen, strategic communications, and international business expertise.
