The World Energy Council Remembers Louise Foibe Namene

The World Energy Council and its worldwide membership community express their heartfelt condolences at learning of the loss of Louise Foibe Namene.

She has been for a long time a remarkable contributor and strong advocate of the Council’s mission, investing her energy to build a sustainable energy future and a better world. As Chair of the World Energy Council Namibia Member Committee for many years, her dedication and commitment to the Council were admirable, and without the support of such valuable members as herself, our organisation would find it difficult, if not impossible, to function so professionally.

The World Energy Council family hereby acknowledges the great effort and engagement of the Namibia Member Committee under her leadership; the time, effort, and dedication she has afforded to our organisation is for ever gratefully acknowledged and appreciated. She will be sorely missed by the Council’s members, and by all of us in the World Energy Council’s Secretariat who knew and worked with her.
