Access to people, goods, services, and places is the basis of almost all economic activities. But how is this approach changing in a world that is increasingly characterized by digitalization, decarbonization, and new mobility and living concepts?

With the NextEnergy Forum, the World Energy Council Austria is establishing a new format for exchange on the future of energy, mobility, digitalisation, and infrastructure. Together with our partners, we cordially invite you to make a note of the date today.

Under the motto "NextAccess", leading experts from the fields of energy, real estate, mobility, digitalisation, and infrastructure will discuss the future of energy, security of supply, and vertical integration. The focus is on innovative concepts for energy hubs and districts, resilient energy and data networks, sustainable mobility solutions, and the challenges of security, resilience, and data protection in an increasingly networked world.

The NextEnergy Forum 2026 builds on the activities of the internationally awarded NextEnergy Initiative (https://www.wec-nextenergy.org/) of the World Energy Council Austria and offers a platform for exchange on the future of energy, mobility, and data systems as well as the associated transformation processes.
