Parliamentary Evening with EEX

EEX Parliamentary Evening in cooperation with the World Energy Council Germany

On Saturday, 3 October 2026, from 6:00 p.m. in Berlin.

International Energy Markets – Germany's Role in Global Competition and the Importance of International Cooperation:

The international energy markets are undergoing profound change. Geopolitical shifts, the rapid expansion of renewable energies worldwide and the increasing importance of global energy markets for molecules such as natural gas/LNG and hydrogen are changing the international framework for energy supply and competitiveness.

What challenges does this pose for Germany, and what is the significance of international cooperation and partnerships?

Under the title "International Energy Markets – Germany's Role in Global Competition and the Importance of International Cooperation", Dr. Tobias Paulun, CEO EEX, and Dr. Carsten Rolle, Managing Director of the World Energy Council – Germany e.V., will discuss these and other questions in a joint keynote discussion with other panel participants.
